This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use https://freegpt.ai (the "Website", "we", "us"), how it is used and what choices you have. FreeGPT does not require an account, and we try to collect as little information as possible.

Your chats

When you send a message in the chat, the text of the message, earlier messages of the same conversation and any files you attach are sent to our AI service providers so that a response can be generated. Please do not share passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive personal data in the chat.

Your chat history is stored locally in your browser (local storage), not in a user profile on our servers. You can delete single chats in the chat sidebar or remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

To apply the free daily message allowance and to prevent abuse, our chat service processes your IP address and keeps short-lived technical logs. We also use your IP address to work out your approximate country, so the chat can show links that are relevant to your region; this lookup may be done by an IP geolocation provider, and the result is cached on our server for up to seven days.

Website visitors and analytics

Like most websites, we collect non-personally-identifying information that browsers make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site and the date and time of each request. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your device type and approximate location. Advertising and cookies

The Website is free because it is supported by advertising. Ads are served by Ezoic Inc. and its advertising partners.
